Aquaron Acquisition Corp. priced its $50 million IPO and its units are expected to begin trading on the Nasdaq under the symbol “AQUNU” Tuesday, October 4, 2022.
The new SPAC intends to identify targets in the new energy sector that are based in the U.S. or Asia with a total enterprise value between $150 million and $300 million. Aquaron is led by CEO, Chairwoman, and President Yi Zhou and CFO Qingze Zhao.
Total SPAC deal count for 2022 year-to-date is now 79. This offering is expected to close on Thursday, October 6.
Chardan is the sole book-running manager for the offering. Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati is serving as Issuer’s Counsel with Reed Smith LLP serving as Underwriter’s Counsel. UHY, LLP serves as auditor. Continental Stock Transfer & Trust Company is acting as trustee.
